Telfair Street
Telfair Street is classified as a collector street with an average daily volume of 3,200 vehicles per day. Telfair Street has many notable businesses, churches, and government centers. Telfair Street is also home of the James Brown Arena, Bell Auditorium, and the boyhood home of President Woodrow Wilson. This project will improve the segment between 13th Street and East Boundary with drainage improvements, new paving, bike lanes, sidewalks, handicap facilities, and street lighting. This project has a projected budget of $19.2 million dollars.
